我是一个新人。去年十月offer an short sale. House is on 89148,1769sqt, lot is 3485sqt,2005 年。最后价钱是125 K。应该这月底close.今天seller 问我可不可以付一半closing cost. Which is $8500/2. I told my realtor no. I really like the house. Should I pay it? If I don't pay, what happen?很想听听大家的意见。谢谢各位。

if you don't agree, they might drop you according to my perception of the market now, or they might not. who is lender here?

If you really like the place as your primary home, you can negotiate with bank at the point. Say, offer them to pay 1000 bucks now and see what they say.

原来的合同是怎么写的？
你的Agent怎么说？

好处是seller可以再免费住一段时间，大大的好处。

i think you omit a lot of information in your post. who pays the closing cost according to the contract? what does the bank offer to pay in the contract? if it is a short sale, usu. seller has no money to pay for anything. I am confused here. you need to write down more details so that people can help you.

Here is the seller's realtor sent to me.The MI company for the 1st has asked for the seller to pay $8500 at closing to sell the house. The seller is asking if your buyers are willing to pay half of this amount. That would be $4250.

Please email me what your clients say. Once we work this out we should have the approval very shortly.
