Lush refused to come out, waved a gun in the air and eventually shot at the officers before they shot back, police said. Lush died of gunshot wounds of the head and neck, according to the Clark County coroner's office.8 D3 Q' \: u/ x& s4 L

In February 2011, Marx and three other Metro officers were involved in a shooting at a Las Vegas apartment complex. Jaime Padilla, 21, was wielding a gun and trying to break into apartments, police said. After an hourlong standoff, police said Padilla fired at officers, who then shot and killed him.
