Dear Madam or Sir,

I am a Ph.D studuent and a visiting scholar from Beijing, China. I am going to do research in UNLV for 10 months from this September to the next July.

Right now I am looking for a one-bedroom apartment for my son (age13)and me. I am very interested in the apartments or condos in the catchment of Bob Miller Middle School. Now I am wondering if there is any one bedroom apartment available from 3rd of September to the 3rd of the next July.

Besides, there are a few things I would like to know more :

1. If there is one available, what is the price per month? And is there any discount policy if I pay 10 months’ rent in one check?

2. What utilities are included in the rent? Is the parking available? And is it free?

3. Do the tenants need to pay extra for the public facilities like swimming pool and fitness center?

4. Are there any public transportation services to UNLV? Are there any groceries’ or supermarkets nearby?

5. Is it within the walking distance to and from Bob Miller Middle School?

   discount 不多见，但是一般来说apartment都有   move-in bonus， 比如签一年合同第一个月免费，打电话去问会告诉你的。 另外如果你有认识的人介绍你去，介绍人和你自己可以有几百块的bonus。  apartment的utility基本都是自己付，公共设施一般都免费，parking也是免费的。

I am not sure if you can any discount, you always can ask.

NO. parking is free

don't know. most likely no. You definitely need to buy a car. The summer is extremely hot at Las Vegas.
